TOOLKITS AND PROGRAMS
As part of the SDW Advisory Practice, we have developed a complete library of surveys and assessments along with the related data. They continue to be used as an integrated part of our practice.
For the first time we’re making these products available for licensing both for internal use in an organization and by individual consultants for use with their client base.
With this opportunity in mind, we have packaged our individual assessments into toolkits that work well together to best address the business at hand. Many of the individual assessments can be found in more than one toolkit since their resulting data has a variety of applications. Each of the assessments listed is also available individually.
SDW Assessment Toolkits
Pre-hire Toolkit–This group of assessments is designed to fit the right employee into the right job. They can be used during the hiring process to identify the best candidates for a particular position. They can also be used internally to make decisions on promotions or transfers into other positions. Included in the group is a piece on interviewing as well to provide the client/licensee with valuable background training during the process.

Human Capital Assessment and Development–While many of these assessments can be used individually; this toolkit is specifically put together for decisions regarding existing employees. The SPAT and MPAT are complex assessments that can accurately predict the candidate’s ability to be successful in a sales or management position. This is a more intense grouping and is designed for mid and higher level management assessment. A subset of these assessments can also be used in pre-hire and lower level employee assessment. In addition the Behavioral Interviewing document is provided to give the client/licensee background training during the process.

Performance Management–This is a combination of assessments and workbook designed to produce an effective performance review and an action plan put together by the employee to work on any identified weaknesses in job performance. It provides a well-rounded view of employee performance with input from peers, manager, and the employee being reviewed. It is designed for positive open discussion and performance improvement.

First Time Manager Program–Many employees find themselves promoted into supervisory or management positions with little or no training. The goal is to provide a new manager with the knowledge and skills to build on through experience in the job. These assessments are designed to identify any weak points in a new manager’s style and provide the data to indicate where training is needed.
